U-Verse Gateway
My gateway was deemed "bad and needs to be replaced" by support. I was sent the new gateway (without the coax connection) and now I can only watch cable on my 1 wi-fi receiver on the back porch. Is it possible to just pick up an ethernet over coax adapter at Best Buy to make the new connection?

DVR will NOT record a show. EVER! It refuses to record it
So I have tried for weeks and it will not record "So you think you can dance" Even if the show is on air I can't record. This is silly. Why? (BTW: Power cycled 100 times ONE HUNDRED TIMES! so do not ask)

My DVR is erratic in response
Sometimes my DVR reacts on the first click from the emote - at other times I need to repeat the click 3 or more times to get the response I am seeking. I don't believe it is the remote aas I changed the batteries and the remote is working to the TV - just the DVR is unresponsive.
