Watching U-verse TV

I began to watch live tv on my ipad through the uverse app. Then it stopped playing and i received error 1001. . so i uninstalled and reinstalled the app and shut down and restarted the ipad. then i logged in again. now i get error uvm 996. Still no live tv. how do i fix this?

Our main tv is connected directly to the DVR via HDMI cable and I have a lot of picture freezing mostly right after channel change ( ot doesn't matter which channel come from or go to) My 2nd tv is hooked up wirelessly and has no issues with freezing. When are you going to resolve the problem with TEGNA? It's disrupting my service in watching WFSS (channel 8 - ABC) in my area. Customers should not have to deal with the petty problems between Uverse and TEGNA. Work it out or lose a long time subscriber.

We have noticed this happening in the middle of the day with the Fox News channel. Just goes black for 10-15 minutes - no error, nothing. Anyone else noticing anything similar?
