Watching U-verse TV

About 15 minutes after starting a recorded episode, it says “finished” and “start over” “delete” etc like the episode finished, but there is 1hr 30mins + recorded, and it shows that. Have restarted, have the room to record, Why is it not letting me finish the episode?

I presume it's U-200 in the Chicago area and HD Premium everywhere else.
