Purchasing movies or entire seasons of tv shows?
New Direct TV Stream user here. I don’t have Direct TV cable..just the stream.
Anyway, I was curious if I have the ability to purchase movies or entire seasons of tv shows to permanently add to my library?
If so, where’s the link to do that?

No, there's nothing "permanent" about DirecTV Stream cloud recordings. The longest they're stored is 9 months.

They also don't offer any pay-per-view, whether first run movies or anything else. They offer the on-demand that their content providers (the networks) offer. In many (most?) cases, that is the current season of current shows - with the season disappearing at some point after it ends. I think the assumption is most people have other on-demand only) streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, whatever) for accessing movies and "old" programs.
