NEW USER, CANNOT ACCESS MY DIRECT TV ACCOUNT

First off I couldn't even get to the direct Tv site.   I figured out that my VPN setting was the problem, that's not fixed.  Now, I cannot access my own direct tv site.  It doesn't recognize my username, doesn't like my account number as a way to login.

I meant to say the VPN problem is fixed.

VPNs do not play well with DirecTV. The service is licensed only for the United States and address (service for satellite, billing for streaming-only customers) determines your locals and regional sports networks, as well as your required taxes.

First make sure you're typing the address correctly as it is DirecTV, not DIRECT TV. So only a single T in the brand (common issue for getting to site or for some falling for a scam).

If you logged in once, try the link for a forgotten User ID. If this is the actual first time, then on the sign in page there will be a link for "don't have a user ID". Then make sure to choose what type of service (satellite or streaming-only/via internet).

If that doesn't work then more info will be needed (browser, error message, etc.) for other users to help figure out the issue. Otherwise calling support for website assistance will be the next step.
