Spoiler and other problems watching baseball on Apple TV
I watch on my MacBook Air. I often start watching well after the games begin. I call up Apple TV homepage, and the tile shows the game, and it also shows the current score in real time!! The same when you click it and the baseball page comes up and shows you the choices to watch live or start over. Once again it also shows the live score, in case you'd missed it the firsst time, so why bother select start over - just be resigned to missing half the game, I guess.
Second, if you pause the game too long, you can't just re-start where you'd left off as you can on any other player, or even a video tape!! It goes to real time. Trying to refresh it brings you back to the above-mentioned spoilers, and you have to go searching to where you paused it.
It would also be nice if my DirecTV Genie remote's voice control would work, for FF shortcuts between innings, etc. It works on all other players and platforms, Netflix, Prime video etc.
This is all basic stuff: Keep the score a secret, and provide a workable player. Ain't rocket science. If Apple is serious about carrhing more sports, have a sports fan test your stuff.

Hey @jronn. DIRECTV is dedicated to ensuring a smooth viewing experience for its users. While we don't control Apple's interface, we hear you on wanting voice shortcuts for fast-forwarding (FF) between innings or other controls, and we will pass this on to our team for future improvements. Thanks for your feedback! 💙Rizza, DIRECTV Community Team
