Multiview Capability
Can DirectTV Stream get a multi viewer experience? ESPN’s Apple TV app has the best multi viewer experience I’ve ever seen and I would like to see that same multi view platform come to DirectTV Stream.
I would love to be able to watch a Hawks game on Bally Sports while watching a Picture-in-Picture of the Atlanta Braves game.
Or, on election night I would like to have a multiview (4 panel) of CNN, Fox News, MSMBC, and CBS all on one screen.

That would be cool. Of course, you can accomplish something similar by using DirecTV Stream on your main TV for one channel and a phone/tablet with the DirecTV Stream viewing a different channel.

Shouldn't be a problem for the Directv Stream app. Read somewhere around here that the app is multi-stream.

The app does not support multi-view. Currently only the ESPN app with ATV4 devices support this feature.

These are only musings. If multi-view were available, betting there would be so many posts to get it to work properly everyone's head would be spinning.

Do you know who would love this idea? The casino operator Bally's Corporation. Imagine watching the NBA on TNT, baseball on TBS, Tennis on ESPN, and MLS on Bally: all at the same time! This would be a major initiative that would help sports betting and maybe some of the casinos would help find the technological development and marketing of the new feature.
