Error message on new wireless TV receiver

Hi - the new wireless TV receiver I ordered arrived in the mail today. I followed the instructions to successfully pair with the wireless access point. The receiver required a restart and when it booted back up I am receiving the following error message: “Account unavailable. This Set Top Box does not match the account settings.” Any thoughts of why I’m receiving this error message?

Did the receiver come with instructions saying "do not try to connect prior to date/time"?  If so, did you attempt to connect it prior to said date/time?  That is the leading cause of this for an add on or replacement box from AT&T.

Regardless of the why, you will need to call 800-288-2020 and have them reset it on your account.
