DVR PAUSE AND RECORD NOT WORKING

When I press the pause on my remote or try to record I get the following message "Pause command not available DVR is either unplugged or restarting."  Neither is correct.  It is plugged in  and working.  Cannot access my recorded programs either, get same message.

Your TV Receiver cannot reach the DVR over the network so it assumes it is off.  Have you tried unplugging the DVR and plugging it back in, and when that is done, doing the same for the Receiver?  If you've done that already, then you could repeat the process, but do the AT&T Gateway first.  If you've already done that... explain how the Receiver getting the message and the DVR are connected back to the Gateway?

Can happen if the settop box is not directly connected to gateway or via an att WAP.

Thanks for all the help with this.  Disconnected all DVR's, did the total erase proceedure and all is well now!!!!  Everything functioning as it should!!!
