is there a better remote then the one that comes with the Gemini Air
I don't like the remote that was sent with the Geminin Air unit. I see there are others that are sold on internet (silver ones), are they compatible and better than the current one that comes with the Geminin unit

Gemini and Gemini Air use the new RC8X series. There is no other DirecTV remote at this time that works for them.
DirecTV doesn't sell silver remotes so that is probably a 3rd party "universal" remote.

I've been looking for another solution to the Gemini Air remote. The problem is my mom is 94 and has arthritis. The remote is difficult for her to manage the buttons on it. Would be interested if any universal could work with it.
