Gemini (sat) keeps crashing

I have 3 Gemini receivers. All of a sudden the one in my family room after about 6 hours, crashes, screen goes blank, but Gemini and TV are still powered on. Picture comes back, repeats itself time and time again. Call the dedicated Gemini line, and they are sending me a new receiver. In the meanwhile I took the one from my daughter's bedroom, and it's doing the same thing. I now rebooted the Genie2, so far so good.. we'll see what happens anyone else having this experience? Thank you

Still crashing! Can I get my old Genies back? I need to speak with advanced support... How do I reach out?

@john21mart

Getting your old clients back would be a tedious process (trust me). I’m sure since the Geminis are still fairly new, they have their fair share of bugs or technical issues. Try a red button reset on all receivers (including the main Genie HD DVR).

So two years later and this is still happening.  To me.  Directv's resolution is to reset the Gemini device.  Not a workable resolution for me.  Reset, log back into all accounts and I use complex passwords.  Directv should be paying me every time I reset the device and cause me lost viewing time.  Everything is junk, Everything.  And I'm an IT Professional.

Your problem may be the same or different from the original poster's.  We don't know what the cause of either is.  I'd suggest starting with your own post if you want assistance here, because this 2 year old post is going to be closed.
