Cannot display Directv on an HDMI matrix

I am using a HDMI matrix to push video from Directv, a computer and a firestick to a 4 tv video wall and a tv in the equipment closet. I have no problems viewing the firestick or computer but the Directv H44-500 box is another story. I can view DTV if it is direct into the video wall processor or small tv but not though the matrix.

I have changed input and output ports on the matrix and I have also swapped cables with known good sources so that eliminates everything but the matrix. I am suspecting an EDID issue. Would a EDID emulator or converter be the way to go?

I just inherited this mess so any help, ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely that "matrix" does not properly support HDMI HDCP copy protection signals. Do you have any documentation on that matrix?

The "User Guide" states "HDMI 2.0b, HDCP 2.2 and HDCP 1.4 compliant". Sadly this user guide has no manufacturer name or tech support # to call.

I know this is an older thread but did you happen to find a solution? I'm dealing with the same.

As several things can change in a few years, best to start your own thread. Be specific to your issue, including model numbers of your boxes, and others can chime in with the best current guidance they can.
