CHANGING PACKAGES VIA ONLIONE
My bill keeps going up, I have found that you can't change what packages you have on their website. I can't even see what I currently have, outside of the bill.

To change your package you should call DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) and say ‘billing’ to the robot. Either the website needs authentication over the phone to change your programming OR during the process of your account being migrated from the AT&T side to the directv side some features got messed up (hopefully, this is fixed soon by directv.)

You should at the very least see the name of your package online. It may not show details beyond that if you have a grandfathered package. Though with the website migration for the new co-owner, some functionality has been hit or miss lately.
If you are looking to lower you package, you would have to do that over the phone anyway. Anything that reduces revenue requires you to call and discuss with a live agent.
